You set the price
Pick what you'll pay from the going rate in your area. Helpers who work at that price can take the job.
- Your price, your call. We suggest what people nearby are paying. Offer more to reach more helpers, or less if you're flexible on timing.
- Never more than you set. If the helper who takes it charges less, you pay less. Your price is the most it can cost.
- Nothing hidden. Our fee is inside the price you pick, itemised on the receipt. HST is added at checkout.
- Pay on completion. Your card is held securely and charged only after the job is done.
- Tips are optional. If you add one, it goes entirely to your helper.

When is UrbanHelper launching?
We're rolling out in the Greater Toronto Area, neighbourhood by neighbourhood. Join early access and we'll let you know the moment it's available near you.
How are helpers verified?
Helpers complete identity verification before they can take work, and certain services require additional credentials. Customers rate every job, so quality is continuously reviewed.
How much does it cost?
You set it. We suggest what people nearby are paying, and you can offer more to reach more helpers or less if your timing is flexible. Our fee is inside that price and itemised on the receipt, with HST added at checkout. You are charged the price of whoever takes the job, never more than you set, and only once it is done.
How does payment work?
You pay securely in the app. Your payment is held and only released to the helper once the job is completed. Tips, if you choose to add them, go entirely to your helper.
Can I change or cancel a booking?
Yes. You can reschedule or cancel from the app. Cancelling is free up to the cutoff shown on your booking. After that, if a helper has already taken the job, half the price covers the time they set aside; if no helper was matched yet, cancelling is still free. Once a helper is on their way the booking can't be cancelled.
What if something goes wrong?
If a job isn't right, report it from the booking and our team reviews it and follows up to make things right, including a refund where it's warranted. If a helper can't complete the job, you're not charged.
